Notice of Proposed Final Order for
Water Right Transfer T-14651
T-14651 filed by Chemeketa Community College, PO Box 14007, SALEM, OR 97309, proposes an additional point of appropriation and a change in place of use under Certificate 98253. The right allows the use of 0.78 cubic foot per second from three wells in Sec. 7, T7S, R2W, WM, for irrigation and nursery use in Sec. 7 and 18, T7S, R2W, WM. The applicant proposes an additional point of appropriation in Sec. 7, T7S, R2W WM and to change the place of use within Sec. 7 and 18, T7S, R2W, WM. The Water Resources Department proposes to approve the transfer, based on the requirements of ORS Chapter 540 and OAR 690-380-5000.
Any person may file, jointly or severally, a protest or a request for party status. Protests must be received by the Department on or before 07/16/2026. If no protests are filed, the proposed final order will become a final order 33 days after the protest period ends, without any further action by the Department.
