Notice of Preliminary Determination for
Groundwater Registration Modification T-13861
T-13861 filed by Stauffer Farms Inc. and CNR Farms Inc., C/O Sheryl Stauffer, 13851 Stauffer Rd NE, Hubbard, OR 97032, proposes a point of appropriation change under Registration Application GR-751 (Certificate of Registration GR-727). The registration allows the use of 232.8 gallons per minute from a well in Sec. 35, T4S, R1W, WM for irrigation in Sects. 34 and 35, T4S, R1W, WM. The applicant proposes to move the point of appropriation to Sects. 26 and 35, T4S, R1W, WM. The Water Resources Department proposes to approve the modification, based on the requirements of ORS Chapter 540 and OAR 690-382-1000.
Any person may file, jointly or severally, a protest or standing statement within 30 days after the last date of newspaper publication of this notice, June 24, 2026. Call (503)-986-0935 to obtain additional information. If no protests are filed, the Department will issue a final order consistent with the preliminary determination.
