Notice of Proposed Final Order for
Water Right Transfer T-14557
T-14557 filed by Hilary Rich, 9721 Howell Prairie Rd NE, Salem, OR 97305 and James Cox, 9581 Howell Prairie Rd NE, Salem, OR 97305, proposes a change in points of appropriation under Certificate 97087. The right allows the use of 0.2 cubic foot per second from two wells in Sects. 12 and 13, T6S, R2W, WM for irrigation and supplemental irrigation in Sec. 7, T6S, R1W, WM. The applicant proposes to move the points of appropriation to Sec. 7, T6S, R1W, WM. The Water Resources Department proposes to approve the transfer, based on the requirements of ORS Chapter 540 and OAR 690-380-5000.
Any person may file, jointly or severally, a protest or a request for party status. Protests must be received by the Department on or before July, 16, 2026. Call (503) 986-0935 to obtain additional information. If no protests are filed, the proposed final order will become a final order 33 days after the protest period ends, without any further action by the Department.
